In the Spring of 2021, Cuyahoga County obtained new orthoimagery covering the entire Olmsted Township (+/- 10 sq. mi) and the Expanded Olmsted Township Plum Creek area (+/- 16 square miles). There are 2 project areas. • Area 1 is Olmsted Township (± 10 squares miles. • Area 2 is the Expanded Olmsted Township and Plum Creek (HUC12) includes the Expanded Olmstead Township boundary (14.00 square miles) and the Plum Creek HUC12 boundary (an additional 16.00 square miles) for a total of ±30.00 square miles. The total project area is 40 square miles, along with a 100-foot buffer for both AOI’s. The aerial imagery was collected during the late Spring of 2021 with some leaf-out conditions with a 3-inch pixel resolution. Imagery was collected with the Leica ADS100 Airborne Digital Sensor. Along the perimeter of the project area, ortho-imagery is buffered at 100-feet. New photo control was obtained consisting of photo identifiable (PID) points. The orthos are delivered as a countywide dataset, consisting of 1,250' x 1,250' uncompressed 8-bit, 4-band color GeoTIFF files. The file naming convention is as follows: bnxxxxyyyy (Ohio North Zone); Please note that xxxx and yyyy represent the easting and northing coordinates (respectively) in state plane feet. Each GeoTIFF ortho file is approximately 100 megabytes in size. Additional deliverables include countywide color and color infrared MrSID (Multi resolution Seamless Image Database) images (20x compression), FGDC CSDGM compliant metadata per file, and tile index provided in Esri shapefile format. Ownership of the data products resides with Cuyahoga County and the state of Ohio. Orthoimagery and ancillary data products produced through this contract are public domain data
<purpose> Cuyahoga County, Ohio is interested in several Base Mapping options to enhance their current GIS program. For the Olmsted Township project, Woolpert, Inc., will produce 3-inch 4-band (R, G, B, NIR) Orthoimagery, Impervious Surface Mapping, Roadway Mapping Features, Hydro Network, Contours at 1-foot Intervals, along with Monument pairs.</purpose>

<procdesc>The Leica ADS100 Airborne Digital Sensor is a push-broom geometry sensor, collecting 12-bit data with 20,000 pixel swath coverage with up to a 5-centimeter spatial resolution. The sensor is capable of collecting multiple spectral bands and angles simultaneously. Leica ADS100 collects seven bands of imagery simultaneously: three panchromatic CCD lines capture information in the forward, nadir and backward views from the aircraft, while four multispectral lines capture data in the red, green, blue, and near color infrared band. The imagery for this task order was acquired using the Leica ADS100 multispectral scanner. The ADS100 utilizes the Leica IPAS20 direct positioning and orientation system that is based on airborne GPS and inertial measurement unit (IMU) technology. The IPAS20 data were reduced using Leica Inertial Explorer software package. All of the source imagery was processed using the Leica XPRO software package. This package provides the capability to perform digital image processing, aerial triangulation, and image rectification.</procdesc>

<procdesc>The strips of imagery were ortho rectified to existing LiDAR digital elevation model (DEM) data. The individual rectified strips of ortho rectified imagery were then mosaicked together to form a seamless imagery database over the entire task order area using the OrthoVista software. The final digital orthophoto imagery (DOI) were extracted using OrthoVista. Final orthophoto non-overlapping tiles were produced in GeoTIFF format (with World files) using a cell size of 3-inch and a tile size of 1,250’ x 1,250’.</procdesc>
